Custom Illustrated Couple Save the Dates

With our business growing it has been a few months since our last blog. It’s been an incredible season for us at Luna Paperie. We’ve had the wonderful opportunity to create several wedding designs for many blushing brides to be.

We at Luna Paperie are continuously coming up with imaginative designs. We loved the idea of creating custom illustrated designs especially those featuring caricatures of real life couples. Adding a personal touch to wedding invitations, save the dates, or thank you cards make a wedding unforgettable. Our latest custom wedding illustration does just that with {Elizabeth Thomas & Matt Trocker's} Save the Dates.

The couple's one of kind Save the Date features specific design, style, color, locale, and special characteristic elements significant to them. Their custom illustration highlights the couple’s love for snowboarding, personal elements meaningful to the couple and of course the cute illustration of Elizabeth & Matt.

My talented sister, our in-house graphic illustrator, designed their custom illustrated Save the Date for them. She had so much fun creating this illustration. It’s amazing to see all the design elements come together. We loved getting to participate in the process of creating their unique custom illustration.

We designed their caricatures from photos they sent us. Elizabeth & Matt requested specific winter attire they both loved from Matt’s orange patterned snowboarding jacket & snowboard to Elizabeth’s black Patagonia winter jacket. I absolutely adored the personal touch this Save the Date showed.

We at Luna Paperie love what we do! We get to create memorable keepsakes for couples. We enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth & Matt and are thrilled to be a part of their joyous occasion. Sarah had a blast drawing their Custom Illustrated Save the Dates and we're so please they liked it. Congratulations on your engagement Elizabeth & Matt! We wish you a beautiful wedding and a happy life together.

Wedding Season Is Here

It's that Time Again

After ringing in the New Year and breaking a few resolutions here and there…the time has come … Wedding Season is here! Yes, I know it’s not an official holiday or anything like that, but a busy season for blushing brides-to-be with so many things to do before they say, ”I do.”

Planning your wedding begins with the tone you want to set. Things like style and color shape the look of your wedding. It also makes choosing your venue and reception a bit easier. But there is one element that gives off the first impression or what your wedding will be like and that’s your wedding invitation.  It’s the first thing that  your guests will see. With so many options, from the custom designed to the DIY, it’s all about what you’re looking for. Luna Paperie is all about making these options available to you. With wedding season approaching, we’re proud to introduce Luna Paperie’s 2011 Wedding Collection.

We have selected a few here to showcase the latest designs. In the past few months, we’ve spent many late nights exploring exciting color palettes, gorgeous lettering, sketching charming illustrations and perusing our premium cardstock to create our collection. We always use color boards that are full of vibrant hues to inspire us. So when the pieces come together, we design our little hearts out til we are happy.

The great thing about our designs is all of Luna Paperie creations are budget friendly. We know many brides-to-be are concerned about the price of things.  That’s why we provide alternate options to meet your needs. We offer 4 DIY options to accommodate the budget-minded person. You just choose which one works for you.

"Stacy" Digital Print Template

If you happen to be good with your hands and love arts and crafts, then you might want to consider checking out our Digital Invitation Creations. We provide digital print templates of any of our Invitation Creations in our gallery. Digital templates are great alternative to custom designs. I myself would have considered this option when I was looking into DIY invitations for my wedding instead of designing everything from scratch, which takes some time. If you really don’t have the time to design but love the idea of putting the pieces together then I would encourage you all to try digital print templates. For more info on our DIY options, check out our DIY Creations page!

Envelopments Wedding Collection

With our Envelopments Wedding Collection, we feature the latest wedding trends and enchanting designs using our luxurious card stock in a variety of hues.  For the more carefree bride-to-be, these exclusive designs are all about layering textured, patterned, premium card stock to make any invitation stand out. Take a look at more from our envelopments collection in our Invitation Creations Gallery page.

So, wedding season is in full bloom and there are tons of choices for you all to choose from. Just remember what your needs are verses what you want. This makes your search for the right invitation design less of a headache. Always use things to inspire your search. Take a look at color boards to help you get started with your color palette. Your invitation describes the look of your wedding. Everything begins with your wedding invitation. Good luck ladies and gents!
